With the introduction of our PTFE materials, Clarion Sintered Metals is now the leader of the automotive ride control segment providing complete rod guide assemblies (powdered metal rod guide + bushing + PTFE slip ring) and banded pistons (powdered metal piston + PTFE band). Our ability to supply both the powdered metal and PTFE components shortens manufacturing leadtime, reduces inventory and improves quality.

If you require a low coefficient of friction, high wear resistance, or thermal and chemical resistance in demanding environments, ingredients such as graphite, glass, bronze, or carbon fiber can be added to match our material to your specific design requirements.
